About me

I have led Maj Invest’s Global Value Equities strategy since its inception, more than twenty years ago.

I developed the investment philosophy and programmed the models behind the process, combining portfolio management with hands-on technical work. Together, our team has built a strong long-term record grounded in business quality, valuation and risk.

Asset management

I start with the business: how it earns money, how it uses capital and how resilient it might be when conditions change. Balance sheets, cash generation and the price paid all matter.

I apply a rational framework to both the investment philosophy and the process, making assumptions explicit and testing them against evidence. The aim is to make considered decisions, with the discipline to revise a view when the facts change.

Artificial intelligence

Machine intelligence has been part of the investment process from the outset. Quantitative models and systematic screening help identify and develop ideas, directing fundamental research towards businesses that deserve a closer look.

Today I build on that foundation with AI models and agents for research and analysis. The focus is practical: better questions, a wider search for ideas and more systematic testing, with attention to data quality, validation and the limits of each model.
